Italian born and raised architect, furniture and industrial designer.
Citterio began as an architect 1987, designing buildings in Europe and Japan.
He has worked along side companies such as B&B Italia, Flexform, Hermes, Kartell, and Maxalto.
Citterio's first big win was in 1987 when he was awarded the "Compasso d'Oro" prize for industrial design in Italy.
He is now a full professor of Architectural Design at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture in Switzerland.
|We currently have one of the 'Xilos' Dining Tables designed by Citterio in 2012 to be apart of the Maxalto Collection for B&B Italia. This dining table is a beautiful combination of minimal and oriental, emulating the widely known 'lazy susan' with the revolving shelf in the centre. We believe it may have been inspired by the architectural work he did in Japan.|
